Between the years 1941-43, the region extending westward from Tunisia to Egypt has been the stage for many warring events that impacted the outcome of WW2. The star of these events has been an exceptional man named Erwin Rommel. His stardom was made by heroic, or rather legendary men who invested the little of reinforcements they got to overcome the mighty and better-equipped armies of the Allies in the most reknown battles of Gazala, Tobruk all the way to Alamein and Kasserineand and the latest encounters of Tunisia.
We will shed some light in these pages on the special forces called Deutsche Africa Korps, report their weaponry and the major events they went thru.
As in our other categories, we welcome all feedback concerning the DAK or generally, the armies of WW2. Keep it coming
